About The Firm

After years of working as a defense attorney in Miami-Dade County, Sarah Steinbaum, Attorney at Law, opened Sarah Steinbaum, a Professional Association in 1999. At the time of its inception, the firm was comprised of Ms. Steinbaum and one Paralegal, Rosa Perez-Lacayo. Today, the firm is comprised of two lawyers, Ms. Steinbaum and Ms. Kolback, and many staff members with years of experience in diverse areas of practice. A team effort is utilized by the firm to assure our clients are provided valuable and beneficial service as well as in solving problems that our clients may encounter in complex litigation. Our attorneys have extensive experience assisting many clients in various aspects of litigation.

SARAH STEINBAUM, PA and the Community

Aside from providing the best possible legal assistance to our clients, Sarah Steinbaum, PA is very focused on education and the community. Beginning in the year 2000, and every year thereafter, Sarah Steinbaum, PA has participated with the Legal Magnet Program and One Community One Goal programs instituted by the Miami-Dade County Schools by taking on internship students. Ms. Steinbaum can often be found with a legal intern in tow, showing the intern around the courthouse, bringing them to hearings, depositions and mediations and giving students hands-on introduction to the legal field. Members of our staff, has volunteered with One Community One Goal by acting as a job interviewer, helping students to build and perfect their interviewing and job related skills. Sarah Steinbaum, PA is always enthusiastic and supportive of their intern students and their success. We believe in creating a lasting relationship with our interns and often keep in touch with them once they have moved on to pursue their life goals.

In addition to the firm's focus on education, Ms. Steinbaum has also served as President of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee for three years. This committee addressed consumer complaints and disputes regarding the conduct of attorneys. She additionally serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, speaking up for children's rights in family related matters. Ms. Steinbaum serves on a Florida Bar Committee regarding fee disputes between consumers and their attorneys.
